Challenge Cup Semi Finals set new record LNER Community Stadium crowd

York Stadium Management Company had the privilege of hosting back-to-back Challenge Cup Semi Finals on Saturday, May 10th, breaking the attendance record at the LNER Community Stadium for a second time this calendar year.

8,402 supporters set another huge milestone for the venue as passionate rugby league supporters packed out the stands for Hull KR v Catalans Dragons and Leeds Rhinos Women v Wigan Warriors Women.

The unwavering levels of support just edged out the former record of 8,391, set by England Rugby Union’s Red Roses in March earlier this year.
