Statement: Graffiti Vandalism

We are extremely disappointed that a significant amount of York City Football Club related graffiti appeared at the early hours of this morning both inside and outside the LNER Community Stadium.

Full details and images of the break-in have been provided to both North Yorkshire Police and York City Football Club, who will each take appropriate action.

Working closely with our partners at GLL and World Rugby, our team has acted quickly to rectify this act of vandalism, and the stadium is now fully prepared for what promises to be a superb evening of rugby.

We now look forward to welcoming more than 7,500 USA and Australia fans to enjoy the game in a safe and vibrant atmosphere.
